Former TNGOP chair Robin Smith, famous for provoking Obama to say "lay off my wife" on national TV and for the "Anti-Semites for Obama" mailer that even the RNC denounced, has interesting friends in her quest to take up the crazy baton from Zach Wamp in TN-3.
In the latest episode, a recent mailer claiming to be from the ultra-conservative Club for Growth characterizes her primary opponent as an earmarking liberal tax-and-spend trial lawyer, and gives an 800 number for more info that lands the caller at a phone-sex hotline.
Nice.
Smith tried to distance herself from former attack poodle Bill Hobbs, but apparently she still has his playbook.
UPDATE: Even Terry Frank is appalled.
